The Spirited Life

"Be Limitless!"--Do you even wonder how ironic these words mean? I am pretty sure, we all have gone through those times when we felt we can conquer anything and everything, the feeling of being entitled and capable of doing a lot or the seemingly impossible.

And speaking of the "impossible", I still recall when I would imagine popping a super-pill that would allow me to do greater and extraordinary things that my body and whole being could endure and more. I dreamt of my fantasies turning to realities just for having such superpowers. With the thought in mind, that being so would reflect the true meaning of becoming limitless!

But we grow old realistically. We discover certain strengths yet we also learn about significant weaknesses. Then, we come to know and accept that our mortality defines our capabilities. Our physical being, in fact, does have limitations. Just like any material things here on earth, we experience decline, wear-and-tear and exhaustion.

The truth is, our body becomes dispensable. Our mind does too, at a certain point. It is only our spirit that never ceases to believe, for it is the only human element that never grows old, no matter what.~Janey
