Sometimes people are reluctant to open links from sources provided by links or referenced by others. There is even a edit first before opening the link. So the web / services to shorten links such as goo.gl etc many used with the purpose of disguise (masking) the original link in order not to be edited.

Some reasons why we should open the referenced link:

• Ethics, we should ethically appreciate the diferent / referenced information by opening the link directly. Breathe out of the profits earned by the linker, and in fact he has the benefit of the referents, if any.
• Fairness, opening a referral link also proves that we are sporty instead of searching from the original source by ignoring the referral link. To be honest, the first information we get from the referrer.
• Building, opening a referral link can also mean recognizing and appreciating the information we have received. Remember that information has value. If this is realized then there will be an atmosphere of mutual giving which in turn becomes progress for the parties.
• Helped, when we have questions and even obstacles to things we do related links that we open through referral then the referrer will have moral and intellectual responsibility to help us.
