Steemit or reddit?

in #reddit7 years ago

Hi All,

Will Reddit users migration to steemit for posting content?

Does steemit's many features give it a competitive advantage over Reddit / Facebook / Google +... etc?
If so what are the advantages?

Cheers,

Reddit is an ugly mess - the only thing its users get from the upvote/downvote karma points system is reduced cardiac-health. They should all get their asses over here, if they know what's good for them.

The most important advantage is that Steem is build on a blockchain which means it can't be censored.

This...plus steem actually pays you something if you get lots of followers and their upvotes!

While it is a real advantage, I'm not sure how good marketing point that is. I have a feeling that promoting the money-making we'll just get more people who want to get rich quick. Those people are not the best possible users. I'd rather have people who want to use Steem because it's uncensorable because they will stay no matter how the price swings.
