I follow someone on twitter under the handle cryptotutor. He just talked about this the other day in a post. He posted this on January 23, 2018. He's a stock trader in the Netherlands and he always says the samething @haejin says....if you stock market folks come over here and think that you are going to apply the same rules then you'll be broke and won't make it work:
I trade crypto, and this H &S pattern has cost me several times, if it rebounds then buy on the confirmed upswing... holding through an h & s is simply unwanted stress.
The markets follow the same rules dumbass. Its not like "Oh adoi I am a crypto market, beter go up ah doi dur" you shit-for-brains cunt moping dick bag. Sometimes a H&S does end with an upswing and other times it drops but the rate at which it does that, in relation to the market, it the same... Just like you do not have a specific way to analyze stocks from the NY market compared to the Toronto market or the Tokyo market... becuse they are all fucking markets,
So let me get this right. You claim that they are different but clearly state in one of you post that you use a program at your job that does your job. Sounds like you don't know what you're doing at your job. Quick word of advice, if a program analyzes stuff for you and tells you what to do you're actually not doing anything.
You can do a simple analysis on your own but they are very unreliable since markets have trends as a whole and as individual components. Meaning in general, something will follow the trend of the market and only have slight variance within itself.
The program doesn't tell us what to buy or sell, but it produces market trends that we can use to help predict that of the other thing...
By the way, little word of advice: your ad hoc argument is the same as telling a construction worker that since a drill screws in his screws, that he doesn't know how to screw in a screw... Sounds stupid doesn't it?
