Bad Acid... No Such Thing #5: Back To Acid by Posthuman

More so than any contemporary producer/DJ I can think of, Posthuman has carried the torch of true Acid into the modern era and beyond. Running the "I Love Acid" label in partnership with Balkan Vinyl, doing A&R for the aforementioned label and putting on a whole new generation of Acid freaks in the process, and producing dancefloor bombs like the track I've brought to the table today.

"Back To Acid" is subtle, sparse, evolving and pulsing like good Acid is supposed to be. A downtuned and distorted vocal describes the qualities of Acid; "it's in your mind, it's in your soul" and exhorts the listener to indulge fully by way of the imperative "you must get back, back to Acid." All of this, while a bouncing 303 line worms its' way into your subconscious. Fantastic stuff, this.
