Steemit Recordpool: That Time Gucci Mane & Zaytoven THREW IT DOWN on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert
We are lucky to be alive in the world the same time that Gucci Mane and superstar producer Zaytoven linked up to appear at an NPR Tiny Desk concert. If you haven't seen them before, NPR hosts these intimate events featuring really top level artists in the WIDEST variety of genres of today's music. They feature all kinds of styles like rock, jazz, international music, and sometimes some really soulful shit but it often has a tinge of sophistican and traditional musicianship to it. They really shocked the world when they brought on Guwop one of the godfathers of trap music accompanied by his main man Zaytoven, who has also produced for Migos, Future, Wacka Flacka Flame, and Lil Uzi Vert.
Just look at Zay jam on those keys!!! He's unbelievable!!! It's so second nature to him he's dancing and looking away just about as much as he's actually fucking playing the piano. Nothing's better than the top comment: "Bruh, Zay playing the shit out of those keys like he's blind"
Not sure if Zaytoven or Stevie Wonder

I just fill up with joy watching Gucci spit his rhymes about popping molly, big booty girls, and AK's up in NPR's corporate office hahahahaha ! I don't even listen to Gucci or any trap in my spare time but this video gave me a whole nother level of appreciation for Zaytoven's talent and the genre when it's stripped down like this.
To check out the whole array of Tiny Desk concerts check this link to their youtube channel. I'm also going to put another video below just for the hell of it. It's T-Pain being featured and he sings without any auto-tune. The man has a real singing voice! Hearing him perform an unfiltered "Buy You A Drank" makes you feel some type of way. It has a way more sincere type of appeal without the auto-tune, it doesn't feel like a drink-fueled tryst at the club. NPR Music is great for giving these artists an opportunity to shine that people make a lot of assumtions about before they listen, including myself. Had no idea T-Pain had an incredible singing voice. I also never would've known Zaytoven was so fire on the piano and Gucci's style of storytelling and stage presence are legit.
