Asam sunti Tale (special ingredients from aceh)

Dear Steemians

today I will share the story about the ingredients typical of Aceh. I believe this special material is not used in any cuisine in the world. this ingredient is called asam sunti.

Asam sunti Is the result of the work of starfruit that has been processed in such a way. Starfruit which has been big then plucked, then cleaned with water and soaked overnight for starfruit is experiencing development or accelerate the process maturation.

then starfruit that has been soaked in clean and placed on the place to dry. all I did was put it on a plaited coconut leaf. then in the sun in the sun up to a week. I plant a statfruit in my garden and i make my own ingredient and make it a special ingredient. Which i do is'nt a new thing and has been handed down by our ancestor.

After that starfruit has started to change color to brownish and begin to shrink in size. then the dried starfruit collected in one container and then sprinkled with a lot of salt.

then salt in stir together with star fruit wuluh which has been in the drying before. after stirring until evenly distributed with salt, starfruit in the drying again.

drying is done for one or two days in accordance with the weather during drying, when the weather is sunny maybe the drying will be shorter time.

the end result of the starfruit which has been stirred with salt and dried that is what is called asam sunti.

and this is typical of Aceh and is not found in any place. this is one of the differentiation between aceh typical cuisine with other cuisines in the world.
