one (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
two (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
one (9 ounce) package cheese tortellini
quarter tablespoon dried basil
quarter tablespoon garlic powder salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot over high flame, combine the spinach and chicken broth. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low. Mix in tortellini, and simmer for ten to fifteen minutes, or till the tortellini is cooked to desired tenderness. Season with basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
