Texas Soup

Recipe Servings: 6

Ingredients

three tablespoons all-purpose flour
one envelope hollandaise sauce mix
four cups half-and-half
quarter cup butter
three tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning TM
half teaspoon dry mustard
quarter teaspoon celery seed
one cup whipping cream
one tablespoon cooking sherry
one pound fresh crabmeat

Instructions:

Blend flour and hollandaise sauce mix with two cups half-and-half in a bowl.

Dissolve butter in a saucepan over medium flame. Slowly put hollandaise mixture, mixing constantly till thickened. Put remaining half-and-half, Old Bay, dry mustard, celery seed, and whipping cream. Simmer and reduce flame to low. Put crabmeat and sherry, mixing gently till warmed through. Serve immediately.
