4 glasses cooked white rice (from 1/2 containers uncooked rice), cooled to room temp*

1/2 medium cabbage, cut into 1/4″ wide strips (7 glasses cut)

1 pound ground pork

1 pound ground turkey

1 expansive onion, partitioned (1/2 ground and 1/2 finely diced)

2 expansive eggs

Unique Mrs. Dash, or any sans salt generally useful flavoring

Salt and dark pepper

2 Tbsp finely hacked parsley or dill

For the Sauce:

1 Tbsp Olive oil

3 Tbsp spread

1 huge carrot, julienned or ground

2 containers locally acquired marinara or hand crafted Marinara Sauce

3 containers boiling water

Step by step instructions to Make Lazy Cabbage Rolls:

Prep: Oil a 9×13 goulash dish, preheat stove to 425˚F.

  1. Cut cabbage into 1/4″ thin cuts. Place in a warmth confirmation bowl or pot, cover with bubbling water and let sit 10 minutes to mellow. Deplete and crush out abundance water with your hands.

  2. In a huge blending dish, join 1 lb ground turkey, 1 lb ground pork, depleted cabbage and 4 mugs cooked rice. Mesh 1/2 vast onion into meat blend. Include 2 eggs, 1 tsp Mrs Dash, 1/2 tsp dark pepper, 2 tsp salt, and 2 Tbsp finely cleaved parsley. Blend well. Frame into potato-molded patties with your hands, each with around 1/2 measure of the meat blend. Organize in arranged dish.

P.s. my bigger meal dish was a littler 9×12 so they didn't all fit in 1 skillet. This is the reason I heated it in 2 isolate dishes. In the event that you utilize a 9×13, they should all fit :).

  1. For the sauce, finely dice remaining 1/2 expansive onion. Warmth a substantial pot over medium/high warmth and include 1 Tbsp oil and 3 Tbsp margarine. Include diced onion and sauté 5 minutes, mixing occassionally or until relaxed. Include julienned carrot and cook an additional 3 minutes or until mollified. Include 2 mugs marinara and 3 containers heated water and heat to the point of boiling. Include 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp Mrs Dash, or season to taste.

  2. Pour sauce over patties until the point when they are about secured. Cover with thwart and prepare on medium rack at 425˚F for 40 min.

To serve, plate the apathetic stuffed cabbage and spoon the additional juice over the best. Present with sharp cream (my top choice) or plain Greek yogurt.

Cook time: 40 mins

Add up to time: 1 hour 10 mins

Serving: 16 to 18 patties
