Spicy Spaghetti Bolognese : Recipe
Spicy Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
- 400g of spaghetti
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 leaf of celery
- 250g of minced beef and / or pork
- 500g of crushed natural tomato Or 7 integers. Always without the skin
- 1/2 glass of red or white wine
- 1/4 glass of milk
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Preparation
1.- We prepare the sauce. In a large pan add a little olive oil and add the finely chopped celery, onion and carrot. Season and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes
2.- When it has softened a little, we raise the fire a little and add the minced meat. We take your share of salt and pepper and with a wooden spoon, we will crush it and cut it, so that it will remain then loose, and scattered throughout the sauce.
3.- When the meat has picked up color, add the tomato and the teaspoon of oregano. We let cook about 5 more minutes
4.- Now, let's add the wine and then the milk. The wine can be red or white, at your choice. The milk will give a touch of extra creaminess.
5.- Let cook over medium heat until we have a very dense sauce. About 45 minutes. This sauce is originally like that but if you do not want it so thick, you can leave it a little less time ...
6.- 10 minutes before the sauce is cooked, prepare the spaghetti. In a rather tall bowl we put plenty of water and a handful of salt. When it is boiling put the spaghetti and let them cook until they are al dente. Around 10 minutes. Then drain the water and serve immediately the spaghetti, with a few spoonfuls of the bolognese sauce on top.
