Weekend Recipes: Crispy Spicy Mushroom Samosa
Mushroom samosa
Flour-2 cups
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - 4 spoons
Water - 4 spoons
For filling
Oil - 2 Tablespoons
Finely chopped onion - 1
Chopped mushrooms - 3 cups
Ginger Paste - 1 Tablespoon
Chopped chilli-2
Garam Masala - 1/2 Tablespoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped coriander leaves - 2 teaspoons
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
Oil - as required
Salt-flavored
Method
Add salt and oil to the flour and mix well and dip the flour with the help of water. Heat oil in the pan and fry until onion turns golden. Pour all the ingredients in addition to the lemon and coriander leaves in the pan and cook until the mushroom is soft. Turn off the gas and mix lemon juice and coriander leaves. Let the mixture cool down. Make a dough of fine flour and cut it off from the middle. Put light water on the edges of the chopped whole. Make that full angle, fill the mixture in between and seal the samosa. Fry until peanut is golden. Serve with sauce.
