To bad weather you have to smile so I decided to enter a bakery and had three milk cake I confess that it is another of my delusions, so I bought a piece to take and to prove it I was a bit disappointed the quality is not the same as before and this is the way in my country many products raise prices but lower their quality.
Searching among my many recipes I want to share the cake of three milk this cake is part of the Venezuelan sweets, what differentiates this cake from the others is that you prepare a normal cake but then you add the mixture of three milks and makes it a very irresistible wet cake, you can eat it like that or prepare a meringue and cover it and sprinkle it with cinnamon powder, it's really a delight.
Ingredients for the sponge cake:
- 2 cups of rising wheat flour
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 spoon of vanilla
- 1/2 cup of liquid milk
Beat the egg whites with a blender until stiff, add the sugar little by little and continue beating, then the vanilla do not stop beating, then add the yolks one by one, add the flour and baking powder and finally the liquid milk We beat a little more and that's it. In a mold that we have already placed the butter and flour, we put the mixture. Bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees F, once ready we take it out of the oven and let it cool. The cake we leave it in the mold so that when adding the milks do not spill.
Ingredients for the cream three milks:
- 1 can of evaporated milk or half a liter of milk.
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of milk cream
In a bowl place all the milk and mix with beater very well take the mixture to the refrigerator for a while, then we open holes in the cake with a fork and bathe with this mixture.

- 2 egg whites
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
