Baked donuts

Hello friends, I hope you are well, these baked donuts seem great to me since we always eat them but fried, a different way of making them but that is worth trying. These donuts are perfect for tea or breakfast any day of the week.

This is one of those recipes that has its time to prepare it but the result is worth so much work and so much waiting, normally the donuts are fried but with this recipe we will prepare them in a healthier way, we will make them in the oven and they still have the same flavor as if they were fried. So do not hesitate to try this recipe for really worth it.

Ingredients for 20 units:

for the mass:

  • 10 gr of baker's dry yeast or 25 gr of fresh yeast
  • 240 gr of water
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 550-620 gr of flour
  • 100 gr of sugar
  • 55 grams of butter with salt

To decorate:

  • 50 grams of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 100 gr of sugar

Preparation:

In a bowl we melt the fresh (or dry) yeast in the water and add the egg yolks, once the yeast is integrated into the water, add the sugar and flour, mix the melted butter and knead for 5 minutes, form a ball and We put it in a large bowl spread with oil, cover and let rise for 1 hour. We knead degassing the dough, re-roll and put in the bolw covered with oiled film and refrigerate overnight, remove the dough and stretch (it is very manageable and can be done right out of the fridge) stretch with a roller until 1 cm thick, with the help of a glass and an apple disheartener (for example) we make the shape of the donuts. With the rest of the dough we can do with the apple disheartening more donut holes. Place the donuts and their holes in a tray, on baking paper, cover and let rise 1 hour. We bake at 180º for 12-15 minutes. While they cool, melt the butter. In a deep dish mix the sugar and cinnamon. We painted the donuts (first the bottom part and then the beautiful one above) with butter and batter in the mixture of sugar and cinnamon and ready to eat.
