The desserts that we fry in abundant hot oil we can not deny that they are very delicious, but we also know that it is very harmful to consume so many fritters, that's why it's healthier to make them baked, maybe they will not have the same texture but think you're eating a little healthier.

Donuts are undoubtedly one of those sweets that explode on our palate, the vast majority dies to eat a donuts without thinking how harmful it can be to our health, I share today the baked donut recipe, I invite you to prepare it and thus you will not have so much remorse.

Ingredients:

  • 25 gr of fresh yeast,
  • 240 ml of warm water (less than 45ºC),
  • 600 gr of flour,
  • 3 egg yolks,
  • 100 gr of sugar,
  • 60 grams of butter,
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.

Preparation:

In a bowl, we dilute the fresh yeast in the water, add the flour at once, mix a little and then add the sugar, the egg yolks and the vanilla essence. We mix everything well. Melt the butter in the microwave and add it to the dough, mix to form a ball with the dough, it is a bit sticky cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for about an hour, until it doubles in volume.

After the time of levado, we pass the dough to the work table and with a rolling pin we stretch it, leaving it with 1 cm of thickness, with a short donuts, or a glass and another smaller one for the inner circle, we cut the donuts until finishing the dough, place them on a tray with baking paper and cover again, to let them rest another 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 180ºC, when the donuts have increased in volume, we take them to the oven for approximately 15 minutes. Once done, let them cool on a rack and we can prepare a classic glaze with 4 tablespoons of icing sugar and 1 tablespoon of water.
