The original recipe I used was from the back of Ghiradelli White Chocolate Chip packaging(1).

This Ghiradelli White Chocolate #Cookies bring back memories of my college time. Somone from our group had grabbed a pack of Ghiradelli White Chocolate chips from Safeway and decided to have a 'bake' night. The cookies recipe called for "cream butter and sugar together". The friend who led the troop of hungry college kids was so adamant that we had to "mix" it till it is creamy. We didn't have a mixer and had to use a fork to mix! (SMH) Oh boy, that was tough. It took the four of us to complete the task. All and all, glad we did, the cookies were soo damn delicious.

I tried this a long time ago during a trip to Hawaii and for some odd reason, I had believed that it was something you could only get from the island. Granted, I was mistaken. You can easily find this macadamia nuts from major grocery stores like Target, and Costco. Still, this is one of my favorite macadamia nuts.

Found this as I was googling around and ought to share. You may want to avoid nuts from Kroger's Simple Truth or Ava Organic brand for now as they have a possible listeria risk(2). According to CDC, Listeria can cause fever and diarrhea similar to other foodborne germs(3).
