I want to share with you a delicious vanilla cake. It is a very moist and soft vanilla cake!

Vanilla Cake

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of rising flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup whole milk
Lemon zest

Instructions:
Add the butter one chunk at a time, until the mixture forms a grainy consistency. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to make sure everything gets mixed in.

Add the sugar from one spoon at a time.

Add the eggs one at a time.

Add the milk, vanilla and lemon zest.

Butter and flour 8" round cake pan.

Bake (preheated oven to 180 °C) until the cake are lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 30 to 40 minutes. Let completely cool on a rack
