Chocolate Cornstarch

INGREDIENTS

half cup white sugar
three tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
quarter cup cornstarch
quartrer teaspoon salt
two and half cups milk
two tablespoons butter
one teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

In a pan, mix together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Put over medium heat, and mix in milk. Bring to a broil, and cook, mixing constantly, till mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Eliminate from heat, and mix in butter and vanilla. Let cool briefly, and serve warm, or chill in refrigerator till serving.
