Custard Cups
INGREDIENTS
four eggs
three cups milk
quarter cup real maple syrup
half teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Beat eggs in a bowl till lightly beaten. Put milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract; gently beat till incorporated. Fill mixture into six quarter-cup ramekins. Arrange ramekins in a baking dish. Fill enough water into baking dish to wrap ramekins halfway up the sides.
Bake in the preheated oven till a knife inserted in the center of a custard comes out clean, thirty-five to forty-five minutes. Eliminate ramekins from baking dish and refrigerate till completely chilled, at least one hour.
