Chyou's Schezuan Rice
Preperation Period: 15 minutes
Cooking Period: 8 minutes
Total Cooking Period: 23 minutes
Can make up to: 4 servings
two cups chinese rice
one cup chopped boiled hakka noodles
one and half tsp chopped garlic
one tsp finely chopped ginger
two tbsp chopped celery
half cup carrot juliennes
half cup shredded cabbage
half cup thinly sliced capsicum
two tbsp oil
salt to your liking
half cup schezuan sauce
Heaten up the oil in a frying pan over a high flame, put the garlic and ginger and sauté for a few seconds.
Put the celery and vegetables and sauté on a high flame for two to three minutes.
Put the schezuan sauce and cook for another minute.
Put the rice, noodles and salt and blend well.
Combine for a few seconds until all the ingredients are blended.
Serve warm garnished with spring onion greens.
