When Life Gives you Lemons....

We had family visiting recently and they stayed at an Airbnb and brought us lemons 🍋 from their lemon tree, I picked a few extras from one in our property (though they weren’t as good) to make fresh lemonade!

Here is my recipe!

• 3 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (this came from about 10-11 lemons)
• 3 cups sugar
• 3 cups water
• Gallon of cold water

-First, dissolve the sugar in water in a pot on the stove on medium low to make a simple syrup. Once it is dissolved let cool.

-Then add the lemon juice and syrup in a pitcher. Stir well.

-Lastly, add the water starting with about half the gallon of water. Then taste and add water cup by cup until you reach desired taste. I like mine sweet and sour so I use less water.
