Indonesian Food Without Oil Still Delicious

Hello everybody! Welcome back.. as you know, 2 days ago i posted all about "olive oil" and then most of people are curious what food that i can eat without oil. i'm going to share indonesian recipe without oil but still delicious. But i wrote this steemit after finishing noodle as we know noodle have a high calories LOL. Ok! here we go..

  1. Soto Lamongan

ingredients:

  • Chicken
  • lemongrass
  • Ginger
  • Galangal
  • Candlenut
  • Red onion
  • Garlic

ingredients for complementary:

  • A little bit caraway
  • Boiled egg
  • Celery leaves
  • lime leaves

Steps:

  1. mix all the ingredients except lime leaves and stir-fry
  2. boil the chicken or fry the chicken (but boil less calorie than fry)
  3. then, put the chicken into all the seasoning
  4. pour some water into the pan.

i think thats simple recipe..

  1. Tahu tempe bacem

Tahu means tofu and tempe means tempe made of fermented soy and bacem, tahu tempe bacem is traditional foods from Indonesia. they have a sweet taste and tasteful and definitely and i have a recipe from Metro tv to make tahu and tempe less calories.

ingredients:

  • Tofu and tempe
  • coconut water
  • coriander
  • Red onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt

Steps:

  • mashed red onion, garlic and coriander
  • boil the coconut water, seasoning, salt with tofu and tempe use the small fire until the water empty
  • grill with oven and.. finished!
  1. Telor Pindang

Telor means pindang. Pindang is traditional egg which have a color

ingredients:

  • Onion skin
  • Bay leaf
  • cashew leaf
  • Salt
  • eggs

Steps:
Mix all the ingredient then wait until the eggs change it color

  1. Pepes Ikan
    Ikan means Fish and pepes is a way to process the fish. pepes ikan is traditional food from Sunda or West Java in Indonesia.

ingredient:

  • Cassava leaves
  • 5 cloves Red onion
  • 1 cloves Garlic
  • 2 candlenut
  • 1leaf lemongrass (got a slice)
  • 2 lime leaves
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 cm Ginger (got a slice)
  • 1 cm turmeric
  • 5 chilis
  • Salt

Steps:
mashed all the ingredient and mix. don't forget to wrap the fish with banana and steam for 45 minutes
