Hi to my friends from Steemit, this time I was a little busy sharing with the family, it's the month of the feeding, thanks to God at home we can still have our Christmas dinner and I really feel very blessed, one of the fruits present In most of the Venezuelan tables is the mandarin, by the way at home use the shell to flavor the bathroom, my grandmother asks us to put all the shells in the bin of the bathroom and they are really many, but the bathroom has a refreshing smell days, others he keeps in the fridge and says that from time to time a tangerine tea is prepared.

I would like to have the mandarin present in another way so I found a recipe that is very easy to prepare and it is also very refreshing, Tangerine Cream, I share the recipe, so that these days you can take advantage of all the tangerines that arrive at your house.

ingredients:

For mandarin cream:

  • 250 ml of mandarin juice (a gross weight of 1 kg).
  • 250 ml of water.
  • 100 grams of sugar.
  • 30 grams of corn flour (cornstarch).
  • 2 eggs

For the cream cheese:

  • 250 grams of cheese spread.
  • 3 tablespoons of honey.

Preparation:

We will start preparing the mandarin cream, for this we will squeeze them to obtain their juice. In a glass we will pour a little of the 250 ml of water and dilute the corn flour, in another bowl we will beat the two eggs and then add the diluted cornmeal, in a saucepan we will heat the juice of the tangerines (strained), the sugar and the rest of the water, but without letting it boil, with it we will get the sugar to dissolve. Let it cool a little and pour the mixture of the eggs, mix well, and if necessary, take a hand blender, heat the cream and remove it so that it does not stick to the bottom, at the time it breaks to boil, it will begin to thicken, remove from heat and let cool slightly. For the cream cheese, pour the cheese into a bowl and mix it with the honey, mix everything very well until the two ingredients are well incorporated. This ready to serve, you will see that not only is it beautiful visually but also that you will enjoy each spoonful of this rich sweet and a magnificent contrast of textures and flavors.
