Torta de zanahoria/ Carrot cake

Hola amigos steemiants

Hoy les traigo una receta de torta de zanahoria, la cual es muy deliciosa (como todo lo que por acá les he descrito)
Sabias que hace mucho tiempo (la edad media) era muy difícil y costoso conseguir endulzantes; y por este motivo se incorpora la zanahoria como un endulzante natural,de bajo costo y muy fácil de conseguir, la zanahoria es el vegetal mas dulce, después de la remolacha, perolas remolachas eran mas difíciles de conseguir en aquel momento,por ese motivo y lo fácil que era conseguir las zanahorias hizo que se incorporaran como un ingrediente mas a las tortas para endulzar su mezcla.

Ingredientes

  • 2 Tazas de harina de trigo
  • 1/2 Cucharada de polvo de hornear
  • 1 Pizca de sal
  • 4 Huevos
  • 1 Taza de aceite
  • 1 y 1/2 Taza de azúcar
  • 2 Tazas de zanahoria rallada (1/2 Kilo)

Preparación:

En una taza grande, coloca harina de trigo, el polvo de hornear y la sal, reserva. Licua los huevos,el aceite, el azúcar y la zanahoria rallada, hasta que obtengas una consistencia uniforme,luego vierte en la taza grande con la mezcla de harina, revuelve bien hasta que todos los ingredientes se incorporen.
Precalienta el horno a 180 ºC y enharina un molde para torta. Coloca la mezcla en el molde y hornea durante unos 50 minutos.Retira la torta del horno y deja reposar por unos 5 o 20 minutos, desmolda y disfruta!!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1/2 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 Cups of grated carrot (1/2 Kilo)

Preparation:

In a large cup, place wheat flour, baking powder and salt, reserve. Blend the eggs, oil, sugar and grated carrot until you get a uniform consistency, then pour into the large cup with the flour mixture, stir well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and flour a cake mold. Place the mixture in the mold and bake for about 50 minutes.Remove the cake from the oven and let stand for 5 or 20 minutes, unmold and enjoy !!
