Ecosia is an Internet search engine based in Berlin, Germany, that plants trees by donating 80% or more of its profits to nonprofit organizations that focus on Reforestation
On Ecosia every 45 searches made by one user plants one Tree and they show your total searches in a small box right next to the search bar,and by far, according to their website, they have planted more thank 66 million trees.Search results in Ecosia are provided by Microsoft Bing.
Ecosia shows advertisements next to its search results, and is paid by partners every time a user is directed to an advertiser via a sponsored link. A single search on Ecosia raises approximately half a Euro cent (0.005 EUR) on average, according to Ecosia's FAQ. (Source)
Ecosia does not store your searches permanently and the searches are anonymized every two weeks, does not sell your data to advertisers and does not use any sort of tracking tools which means your searches are hidden are completely secure.
You don't have to do anything, just use Ecosia as a normal search engine as you would use Google or anything other and save the Earth with just that.

This is a really nice idea. I love trees as they really serve us in different ways. On the other hand, I must say that I intended to read more about Ecosia; maybe you could have written about the team behind it or even more.
Also, you didn't source the image you used, and I couldn't find your opinion concerning Ecosia.
