Life Is Not Fair, and the Illusion of Fairness On SteemIt is Not a Valid Argument.
There is no fair. There isn't quality content. There isn't an argument based on your world view vs. another world view. I get around .08 usd on a post without measure, and others with higher reputation and probably skill, get a higher amount. Is anyone kidding anyone it is based on content and not on algorithms?
Have some fries, and wait for the value to SteemIt to get real. The vast majority of votes are done by bots. So, that would conclude that AI is valued more than content. For now.
If you believe in the "Quality of your post" having an impact on the payout..... You are not paying attention.
I hear you.
I don't kid myself that the majority of votes on my posts are from actual people reading them. But I still post the best quality posts I can, when I can.
I respect that. More than I respect most things. :) I just followed
thanks :-)
Everyone loves a "big bot".
I know I do :)
Oh I soooooooooo agree with you! Quality is not as important as quantity here. But I do believe that at some point this platform will sort itself out and it will become a platform to read informative posts. We just have to keep on being true to ourselves and write quality posts. You owe that to yourself and to the readers. We should just keep on Steeming. Part of the cycle of life...LOL...nature sort itself out and so will Steemit. I still believe in this platform and will not give up. In reality we are setting an example to others. They should just follow.... and if they follow they should UPVOTE! It amazes me that I have an x amount of followers and then they don't upvote me. Why are they following me then? I have also limited the amount of people that I follow so that I can actually take time to read and evaluate a post before upvoting. Most people are just here for the money..... and if they see it is not worth it then they leave. I believe that Steemit is going places! Just wait it out... LOL!
Why "informative posts"? Why not funny? Or something else? My point being that people have different, subjective tastes, and you can't decide what is objectively a "good" blog post.
Agreed.
Funny is still good but what is funny for one person is not funny for someone else. The actual point that I was trying to make was that you should write what YOU like. Ignore the posts you don't like and upvote the ones you do. There will always be someone who thinks the way you do, or not.... I just go with the flow and write about things I like.
enjoy what you like.... someone likes fries. that is worth 40 dollars. Who are we to disagree?
I agree, but it would hurt my soul to pretend it is on quality.
Still about the money. If you post enough posts with "rubbish" your reputation still climbs.
I will work on rubbish then. :) I don't mean it, just making a point.
Funny enough... I have noticed that if I write a post quickly without planning properly, I sometimes get more upvotes. Weird, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to follow. Go with what you like ...lol .... I do like fries btw but I like chocolates more :)
I heard there are some angry chicken wings going around. Lmao, *pixabay
leaders lead, and followers follow. Who are we as a community? Angry chicken wings... usually harvested by those who are not angry, but pragmatic.
I really don't know. That is the illusion of fairness.
:) we will see if we get any real answers.
"Quality content" is an illusion. Value is always subjective. There's no way to really measure an objective "quality" of a blog post - other than its popularity.
That was my point.
Oh, ok.
@whatsup, @steevc, i'm following you, like your posts and don't use bots. Please keep sharing your thoughts! (y)
I followed you as well!

Since it is after payout. I figured nobody would read this comment-
quality means nothing, I would have thought you would have figured that one out by now... Unless your followed by the big whale bots, taking this subtle information i give you is your best route before the ship sinks

Time to make a new one...
If you catch my drift ;)
