The Ninjas were the skilled warriors of Japan who were famous for their exceptional skills in martial arts and the ninjutsu which basically comprised of stealthy acts and moves, clever plotting, assassinations, and espionage. You must have heard about some Real Ninja Weapons , some of them are still bought and kept by people as collection pieces.

The Ninja used to start training their kids by teaching them all those smart tactics as soon as they were old enough to get hold of weapons. The popular real Ninja weapons were swords, throwing stars and the spiky claws worn around hands and feet. Let us now have a look at some of the Ninja weapons which were most commonly used by the shadow warriors known as the Ninjas.

1- Manriki-Gusari:-
The Manriki gusari was used to perform a number of tasks by the Ninjas. It was actually a set of two metallic bars connected to each other with a metallic chain. So, basically, we can say that they were heavy chain which had weights attached to its both ends. This weapon was most commonly used for whipping, throwing and strangling someone.

So, yes it was a deadly and very dangerous weapon. The length of the chain of this weapon ranged from twelve inches to almost forty-eight inches and from thirty centimeters to approximately one hundred and twenty centimeters.

2- Kama:-
The Kama was a weapon that was inspired by the agricultural tools of that time. It was used initially to cut rice crops and then got adapted as a weapon we know as the Kama. The Kama could be easily carried and was easy to wield as well which is why the Ninjas used to carry it as a weapon with them. The Ninja also used to construct this weapon with blunt edges in order to train their young ones on using them.

3- Kakute:-
If you see this weapon, then it looks like a cute, little thing but in fact, it is not that cute and is dangerous. Kakute is basically a self-defense ring that is worn around the finger and had spikes on it. The spikes could be poisoned and easily hidden by forming a fist around it.

These spikes were capable of puncturing or ripping the skin. So, we can say that Kakute is modern-day brass knuckles , used to magnify the impact and power of a punch. If used on the sensitive parts of the opponent’s body, the Kakute could inflict lots of severe damage even without poison applied to it. However, with poison, they were totally deadly.

4- Neko Te:-
The Neko Te were basically the spikey gloves which the female Ninjas used to wear in order to protect themselves or when fighting with someone. These gloves were quite effective and they were capable of causing lots of injuries to the victim but if the female Ninjas wanted to kill someone with it, they would dip it in poison and would then attack to kill their opponent.
