THE RESCUE OF A THAI CAVE BOYS

In June 2018, a group of 12 boys aged 11 to 16, along with their soccer coach, became trapped in the Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand after heavy rains caused flooding.
The situation was dire as the cave complex was filled with rising water and narrow passages.The rescue operation involved an international team of divers, Thai Navy SEALs, and other volunteers.
The divers had to navigate through challenging and often submerged cave passages. The operation was further complicated by the fact that some of the boys did not know how to swim.
Over the course of several days, the rescue team carefully guided the boys out one by one, using a combination of diving and buoyancy aids. The mission was extremely risky but was ultimately successful. All 13 members of the group were rescued and brought to safety, with the operation concluding on July 10, 2018.
The story captured global attention and was praised for its extraordinary coordination and bravery.
