Reading has been a great source of knowledge. Reading skills are essential to succeed in society. Reading broadens the vision of a person. A person who reads more can interact with others in a for better way. A student who is a good reader is more likely to do well in academics.

There is an old saying "Books are the best and most faithful friend of a person". Reading books soothes and relieves tension and loneliness. It also kills the boring time.

Reading books is the big fun and pleasure activity too. But nowadays children are losing interest in reading due to cinema, television and mobile phones.

But we must remember that apart from everything, reading will always take us a step ahead from non-readers.
