I wasn't born in the 60s in California , USA, you see ... i just have different perspectives BUT, if you look at it .. even the ancient Scandinavian cultures knew of duality and Odin and Freyja had a living apart together relationship even though they were husband and wife none told the other what to do, neither was the dominant one and each could carve their own fate.
