RICH WALLETS WITH EMPTY BRAINS; THE PARADOXICAL SYMPHONY OF 21ST CENTURY

It was Dr. Seuss who said very correctly that "The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
These words of wisdom have actually proven true to me and many others who have dared to venture into the world of Books and reading. !

I have feared nothing more than having a
fat wallet with empty brains! It's not about the upvotes and comments and Cash outs, my greatest question shall be, have I learnt anything new?

In 2008, an uncle of mine paid a huge amount of money to be shortlisted for interview in an oil company here in Nigeria, he was actually shortlisted,

I have noticed one thing about most STEEMIANS, they don't actually read posts, they Just upvote, comment and tell you upvoted, they don't read, but I guess your guess is as good as mine, you will not go far here if you have phobia for reading.

No, no no, it doesn't work that way, the good book talks of renewing our minds, no lazy mind can be renewed, actually none!

We need to get to that place where we discover that reading a post is equally an investment as the upvotes you get in return, as the cash you withdraw from your wallet, it's even a more important investment I dare say; oh yes, an investment on your mind. There's this Psycho -Spiritual relationship that exists between reading and writing, you can't write if you don't read.

I recall when I posted some photos of books I have in my personal library on Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook, few weeks ago and most people called me BOOK WORM and other derogatory names, but guess what? The reading WORM definitely rules over other worms that do not read, it's safer, better to be a book worm my dear.

Have you ever wondered the difference between the gateman and the gate owner? KNOWLEDGE!
The difference between the House owner and the house keeper? Knowledge!
The difference between the WHALES and DOLPHINS ? KNOWLEDGE!
This knowledge doesn't come from Heaven but from reading!

Then after reading, another thing exists to be done, assimilation of what is read, then comes the application of what is assimilated, awesome chain of utility right?

There are moments I write here and on other platforms using the combined knowledge of others and mine, even when I may need to thoroughly change most things and bring in my perspective and view. But you can't analyse nor bring in a different perspective where you don't even read.

A reading mind can create ten new original posts out of one, with none being guilty of Plagiarism! Science calls this ability CLONING, a subset of Genetics, where the cloned individuals are produced from the parent breed, with certain similarities but vast differences in their genetic makeup.

So Readers are like cats with nine lives, they may die in the end, but they don't die easily and they die just once .
Please STEEMIANS let's read more so we last longer.
