Not What I wanted My First Post To Be
This is not how I wanted to introduce myself or what I wanted my first post to be but, here we are. I've been lurking on a Steemit for a while now, mostly following homesteaders. I am currently looking for land to build my own off grid homestead. Today though, I just want to address what happened today in Charlottesville, VA and what is still unfolding. There is no reason or justification for that type of violence. My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been injured. What I don't understand, what I will never understand, is the level of hatred that led to this. It's astounding. What's happened? What have we become?
