Am one of the few that can come out boldly to testify to what steemit has done so far. I joined steemit with a low model android phone with just gram less than one 1g and internal memory of 8g in built. Steemit was frustrating using the phone, but January 6 2018 I was able to launch a new infinix hot 5 lite. See specification below. :-

I'm happy for you steemian. I also hope to step up like you. Using lower phone specification for steemit can be highly frustrating. I can relate very well.
The most annoying part is when i will want to comment reasonably and my android phone will just be misbehaving viz hanging, shutting down, slow loading (moving to tears)...😥😥😥
