I think location also matters here,i mean a business like this can thrive in cities and not in villages.
In my city,car wash is quite lucrative,they combine car-washing with a sit-out for refreshments.
Doesn't even necessarily mean to be a city. If it's a town where people are mobile. Then you're good to go. Combining car wash and sit out is great too and you'll have lots of clients but then the cost of setting up will be much for someone with a small capital and just wants a side hustle.
