INTRODUCTION
The Web 3.0 project, as it has been called, is inspired by the original Web, with a few fundamental changes. The idea is to make the Web more efficient and open. One of the intended effects is to make it easier to build decentralized apps (Dapps). That is what Ethereum and other blockchain projects are working on. But how would you do that? How could you make something like a blockchain network possible on a website like Facebook's or Google's?
The answer is that you don't want to create a whole new form of network just for Dapps. It would be too expensive; you'd have to hire a lot of people and include them in your business model. You could use existing technologies—like HTTP APIs and smart contracts—to build something similar to what Ethereum does. There are many companies doing that, but they are all proprietary systems that can only run on one system. A decentralized exchange works fine in this environment, but it depends on trust: the exchange must be very honest or people will lose their money.
Binance technologies are based on Bitcoin technology, but Binance doesn't use the Bitcoin blockchain: instead, it uses its own distributed ledger, called Binance Chain. With a fully decentralized exchange like RBX dex, it is possible for anyone to create their own exchanges, which can handle millions of different cryptocurrencies by simply using the RBX dex software. This will allow for a huge increase in liquidity and trading volume on any new exchange that is created.
