RBG award is to both genders this year!

I thought this was satire but it is real. Apparently this is an award the Opperman Foundation gives each year. It was started in 2020 with RBG's blessing to give an award to "an extraordinary woman who has exercised a positive and notable influence on society and served as an exemplary role model in both principles and practice".

But this year the foundation changed the criteria to include men. RBG's family is outraged and said they wanted "to make clear that they do not support using their mother's name to celebrate this slate of awardees, and that the Justice's family has no affiliation with and does not endorse this award."

The head of the foundation is a big Republican donor.
