Raw milk does not neutralize pathogens in days. We have research showing raw milk can remain infectious with H5N1 for at least 5 weeks. And that same research shows it can transmit the virus when consumed. We also have had a number of cats on infected dairy farms die after consuming infected raw milk.

Infected cows have ~2% mortality with H5N1. Not as lethal as it is with poultry or cats, but still fairly notable and their raw milk has extremely high viral loads.
