This is Toolbox. Local PD got a snake call. Went to the home to find this guy had tried to get into a toolbox, but the lid slammed shut on him. He has some abrasions and a few broken ribs, but has eaten, taken water and pooped successfully. He will soon be returned to the wild, where he will perform valuable services. Did you know that squirrels carry the bubonic plague and that snakes help keep their numbers in check? Mice and rats carry Hanta virus, snakes also help keep their numbers down. One rattlesnake can eat 60,000 ticks a year via its' prey. Yet we slaughter them on sight. Humans are the most dangerous species on the planet.
