I think the ANC, as a whole, have the culture that men have the right to do whatever they want over women, it was clear at the NEC in December by only electing 1 woman into the Top6. So why would they respect ordinary citizens if they dont even have respect for the women in the higher echelons of the party structure?
Yeah that attitude is African culture, and thats just the way it has been and will probably continue. Same goes with Middle East countries and some Asian ones as well.
