This time, I bring to you 'Bury Me Alive' by Kelvyn Colt brought to you by Colors. Kelvyn Colt was the first person in his family to attend university. Nevertheless, after three months into his first year at law school and hours of reflection, he decided to quit his university course to dedicate his time to music. Kelvyn Colt grew up in Wiesbaden, South East Germany. He is the son of a German mother and a Nigerian father. Colt says that he started approaching hip-hop and experimenting with its beats around his teens. Once he received an offer from law school, he thought it was too big to turn it down. But, very soon into the program, he realized that what he really wanted to do was music. Therefore, even though he quit law school, he found a university course in business entrepreneurship that allowed him to do both business studies and music making. This combination helped him to learn about the business side of the music industry while he was mastering the art. After graduating, he set up a digital and social media consulting business working with brands and startups. These activities along with his music is what takes most of his time nowadays.
