Religion - Random Rants
In secondary school i was taught that religion is man's way of trying to reconnect with God. That every religion is an attempt to reach God.
Sometimes i feel religion just gives people an excuse to be condescending, judgemental and self righteous. Perfection is a virtue man can only hope to attain so why put others down for their imperfections.
My dad said that he wasn't just a christian but that he was a truth seeker and that is why he is a christian.
But in a world where there are so many religions, each claiming to be a better version of the truth than the others, it does beg the question of the truth really is.
I don't believe that truth varies. If it did it'll just be a very good lie. Rather, i believe that there is only one truth. One version of it and others are just white lies painted as truth to distract man from the truth.
Religion in my opinion is just routine. Doing the same thing over and over for the sake of it. And not because we want to connect to God.
Truth on the other hand..... Is a whole different story...
But im just ranting here
