I live in a household of lies

I still didn't get the answer to the questions I've asked. I'm not asking it again. I'm not angry that people lie to me. My message is simple: you lied to me so don't expect for me to tell the truth to you.

My mother explained it quite excellently: she prefers that my brother lies to her. She admitted it. She admitted that she would rather be blissfully ignorant.

She hates the truth, she prefers lies. She cannot handle the truth. The notion of the truth destroys her perception and she crumbles.
