What the Fork?!!!

I don't really understand ^{WHAT THE "FORK"} is HARDFORK, no matter how many posts I read to gain knowledge on the matter. Apparently, with the recent updates on Steemit, the commenting rewards will change, also commenting uses up the RC (again, whatever that means).

I used to reply on some posts and exchange comments with the author, which has helped me as a new user to connect and engage with other Steemit users, without having to worry about the RC status, or how many comments I can make within the day, or reply to the comments straight away. Now, all of that will change. It's like there's no freedom at all. Unless your SP is really high, then you have no "value" to the community. (But I could be wrong in my assumption.)

What I think will happen to me is that:

I can no longer do multiply replies to @insideoutlet's What is It game... as commenting will use up my RC.

Nor interact with the whole Banana Collective (@bananamemos) through comments... as it will use up my RC.

Nor reply to someone's post by writing a poem instead (which I really miss doing, for example, I had fun exchanging poems with @gumegxgolgom or Havana Bananamon's haikus). Here are a few examples:

Also, I really like @intellihandling's latest post Steemit after HF20 atomic bomb because I share the same sentiments. However, instead of commenting on the post, I just thought, I'd write this post. I just want to say to @intellihandling that I agree with your observation. There is somewhat social stratification existing on Steemit, where after HF20 update it has become more favourable to the "rich club" or the VIP.

But I do hope that HF20 does restore not only the continuity but also the confidence of most users in this platform.
