What is wrong with people!

The latest of the things that have gotten on my nerves is the media driven chairty of the holidays. Recently a call center in my area has closed down due to bankruptcy. The employees have all been laid off and will be given unemployment cheques until they find more eployment. There is a 6 week delay for uneployment but they will recieve all the back pay for it. As well as the local government is giving the employees 400 a week untill unemployment kicks in. That means they will be recieving more then they were earning at the center for the next 6 weeks. So what makes me angry is all the charity they will also be recieving from the public. So far $20,000 has been raised and devided evenly amoung the employees who are already making more then they were at the center when there are people in the world who need it more then they do. Because of the holiday and because of the media these people are going to be better off then they already were, and the people who were worse off before any of this happened are recieveing nothing. There is nothing more redicuals then sheep in wolves clothing, but this is excatly whats happening. The public has been told how to react by a public figure so they do. Before you donate to a uneeded cause. Go find someone who actually needs it and donate to them.
