Do you 👀 shells 🐚? 🧐
We used to live deep in the sea,
As strong, pretty homes we were to be,
Our soft sea owners were proud and happy,
To show us off to others like a happy guppy,
As they grew bigger, they would leave us,
For others to come and find us,
But we would stay in the sea for as long as we could,
Until we were swept to shores, as nature would,
We stayed at the shore, long and forgotten,
Under sun, heated up and slowly rotten,
Until a happy one found us as she swung by,
And now we are treasured, happy googly eyed.
