hi,
brand new to steemit,
well i've met before but only in a short term cursory glance, it's a blog.
it's a blog AND a blockchain, good news for people who like blogs AND good news for people who like blockchains :D

personally i'm more impressed with the blockchain aspect,
i dont' know yet how steemit works.

what will happen with this text? will it become part of the blockchain? is that what happens?
how long can this text be, could I enter an Encyclopedia (text only of course),
could I create an endless stream of ASCII art?

questions worth exploring, if only for their educative value.
as much as the idea of a blockchain used for storing ASCII art is appealing, ASCII art is not so appealing.

ah, i see the "POST" button is not yet highlighted. i surmise an account is in order !!

suddenly i exist !! a steemit account is mine, but still i cannot post ......
