Meanwhile back at the ranch: yikes the skeeters!

Yesterday was full of road blocks. We went to load the tractor and it stalled out just before we got it on the trailer . Figured out there was no fuel getting to the carburetor. We ran out of time and left it sit. We had to get water out to the calves. We have had intense heat the last week so we were worried that the natural water supply would be dry.
When we got out to the place it was quite late we set up the water tank and filled it. The calves were nearly out of water so we were just in time.
They do look pretty happy though.

Next we went out to fence till sunset, but the mosquitos were so thick we ran for as soon as we got the posts unloaded.

We decided to go back and work on the tractor. We cleaned out the bowl filter removed it and found a chunk of rust blocking the flow. Good news! We are up and running. Headed out today to try it again.
Even with the road blocks we are enjoying the journey.
