Meanwhile back at the Ranch. We Bought The Ranch!
On Tuesday afternoon we signed the papers!
We were buying contract for deed, but we rolled over to a bank loan and added 40 acres with a barn to the purchase.
With the Deed now In our name it will give us more control over the land and open up other oportunities for its use. The interest rate is now a lot lower too.
This picture is of Bear Butte mountain from the hillside of our Ranch. We have an excellent view of the entire range of the Northern Black Hills.
And here once again is the barn on the new acreage.
It will now be time to get back to fencing and setting up Windbreaks for wintering the herd.
We have a lot of work to do but we are very excited to embark on the next leg of our journey at the Ranch!

Congratulations to you, that is so exciting. I love cows and farming is in my heritage, so I can really appreciate the hard work that you are always having to do.
