I was sort of expecting this chat to be a bit light on attendance. It’s summer, and some folks seem to want to do things on Saturdays. Not to mention activity on the platform is generally light right now. Not to worry though, the community showed up and an interesting discussion ensued. About 39 were in the channel and another 20 watching on Dlive. This is the first time the chat was streamed on DLive.

@crimsonclad from @followbtcnews was bummed out that she had to miss her first Witness Chat. She was dealing with prolong fire alarm testing in her building and the need to try to calm @murphydog. I’d be making that a priority myself.

Among the topics discussed: a very spirited discussion took place on the topic of decaying votes for witnesses. Bidbots were discussed but they don’t appear to be the center of controversy they once were. The topic of the Witness page on Steemit came up as we talked about the changes there.
