RE: Voting club --- the breaker of chains or secret SP societey ( bounty inside )

in #rambling6 years ago

Hello Steem-Bounty folk. I've joined the Vote Club, but I know that with HD20 coming tomorrow, my tiny .002 Vote Power will be rounded down to ZERO. After the Hardfork the minimum Vote Power will be .02. So, I was thinking of leasing SP through Minnow Booster. I have 40 SP now and think I will need another 400 at least, just to get up to the minimum .02 Perhaps I should lease 4000 SP. According to this calculator (https://www.steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html), 4000 would give my vote a value of .22. What do you advise regarding SP leasing. Do you think it would add value to the program? With the little that I have, I just don't think my vote is worth anything at all, in this program or even without it. I am ashamed to be so poor and afraid to offend others by voting with nothing to give. That's because I've been scolded for voting and bringing down the rewards due to the author and his circle-jerking buddies. Your advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

First of all there is nothing to be ashamed about to have not much SP

I dont think anyone mind if you join with not this much SP as the program is based on your voting power and not on your amount of SP.

If it is wise to lease SP...I cant really tell you I have never done it but I will ask some friends who have done it and will come back to you.

@flipstar, thanks. Some people do mind if low vote value members vote on their blog posts.

My vote power only has a value of $.002, so after the hardfork it will be worth zero. That's the new Dust Vote changes. Any vote less than $.02 becomes ZERO.

About the leasing of SPs, I mean specifically for the Steem-Bounty Vote Club. Thanks again.

I think it does not work that way.

Any comment of post that do not receive more than .02$ reward in total receives nothing. This has not changed.

Before HF20, accounts must possess about 1 SP for a 100% Voting Power vote to successfully post to the blockchain. Now, this limit is retired, but every vote is worth less. According to @danielsaori, that amount is 1.2 Steem Power less.

@ropaga, how do you interpret the last paragraph of the HF20 Dust Vote Threshold Changes? Screenshot below.

Also, I wanted to thank Steem-Bounty for the rewards I was given from this post. THANKS :)

The two interpretations are compatible with the text. The difference is in the value limit. Where did you find that value?

BTW, I can't upvote your post. It won't process. Is that because my vote is so WORTHLESS already???
